This print comes from a badly damaged leatherbound volume with the title “Japan Art” stamped on its spine. The book’s frontmatter was missing, including the title page and any other information that would allow to identify it; that said, the binding leads us to believe it was printed ca. 1900 (please see image). Original woodblock print. Artist and title unknown. Page measures 24 x 27.5 cm; image size 21.5 x 33 cm. Print is in Very Good condition. Paper is lightly agetoned Colors remain clean and bright.
