Octavo. viii, 174 pp. Original brown cloth, rebacked; boards ruled in blind with a plain panel, spine lettered in gilt (largely rubbed). Rebacking utilitarian rather than aesthetic, with the original spine panel laid down; boards show wear and bumping to corners and edges, extremities rubbed. A retired library copy, with the usual stamps and markings (deaccessioned with "withdrawn" stamps); more recently from the estate of a Boston-area physician. A serviceable reading copy of an uncommon medical monograph; worn but complete and structurally solid.
